New Design in Spiral Stairs "Welcome to the Fold"
enzie stairs recently launched the latest evolution in spiral stair development. With a focus
on safety and style their award winning stair now features a band of sculptured aluminium or
glass wrapped around the balusters.
The concept of the fold has a long emotional history. Ancient shepherds brought their flocks into the
fold for safety at night, religious groups talk about welcoming people into the fold, and we can
probably all relate to being folded in our mother's arms.
This notion of being enfolded inspired Bryan Mackenzie to create the latest model in the
spiral stair range.
The enfold is a development of the multiple award-winning modular spiral stair system pioneered by
Stairs. The enfold capitalises on the inherent safety of spiral stairs by wrapping a broad
ribbon of perforated aluminium around the structure or, in the latest innovation, panels of
toughened safety glass by Bent and Curved Glass in Sydney for a sophisticated lighter than air look.
On the aesthetic front, the wraparound highlights the already fascinating form of the spiral stair and
makes it even more of a sculptural piece that enhances the appearance of traditional or contemporary
settings.

- Quality construction in aluminium, steel or stainless steel. Now available with sophisticated
toughened safety glass balustrade panels specially manufactured by Bent and Curved Glass of
Sydney.
- Polished finishes, or 23 powder coatings including metallic colours.
- Optional double-flight stairs.
- Modular components that can be carried in the boot of a car.
- Standard rubber anti-skid tread pads. Optional overlays in attractive timbers or stone-effect
materials.
- Availability throughout Australia, with an installation service on call in most major centres.
- Kit-form delivery, with printed or optional video instructions.
