Doing Household Chores is Exercise
By Callie Armstrong
Exercise is the best way to keep a fit and slim body. It helps you stay on your diet and if you are in need of losing a little weight,
you need to find out about counting calories, and using exercise to
burn calories.
Exercise burns calories, and you do not have to go out running to get
exercise. In this article we want to tell you a little more about how
you can burn calories, and how you can find that lighter version of
yourself who is just waiting to shine through.
Exercise burns calories, but this doesn't mean you have to put forth
some effort into getting exercise. Exercise could be any regular
activity. It could be just walking to the stairs, or it could be that
you are going to walking around the block. Aerobics and jogging,
running, flying a kite, even cleaning the house are going to be forms
of burning calories. You can burn calories by kissing your spouse, or
by walking the dog. If you were to climb in the car, you are not
burning calories, but you will be just driving around. Burning
calories is something you can do even sitting in your chair. Leg
lifts, and muscle flexing can be done if you are sitting all day and
you want to burn calories faster.
Cutting calories is going to be a big start in any weight loss
process. The weight loss process is going to be hastened along as you
cut calories and add exercise to your day. Exercise is the movement of
your body, and you do not have to join a gym to get additional
exercise. Additional exercise could be that you wind the window down
instead of using a button, that you walk the dog, instead of letting
the dog run loose, or it could be that you sweep the floor instead of
having your child sweep the floor for you.
Washing dishes, washing clothes, cleaning the shower and shaking the
rugs out the door are all methods of getting a little more exercise in
your life. Adding any form of exercise is going to burn calories that
you eat every day. Exercise burn calories that are stored in your
body when you eat less in your daily diet. Eating a lower calorie diet
and adding exercise will bring about a better healthier you for the
future.
