Slim down your chubby chin with a double chin exercise

As we age, we notice that our skin and our muscles tend to sag and wrinkle up, but that should not mean a particularly annoying double chin should stay where it is.
So, to answer that nagging question in your head: yes, it's possible to shed that excess fat under your chin with a double chin exercise. But how soon that happens depends on your determination in performing the double chin exercises below, and to some extent a healthy eating plan and some physical workouts. You can't expect your chubby chin to go away, while doing these double chin exercises, while eating cheeseburgers everyday, and refusing to even brisk walk in the morning.
Neck bends. Remember those TV ads where a man with a razor looks at the stubbles under his chin in front of a mirror? Imitate that. Stand upright in front of a mirror and tilt your head up and backwards, until you see your chin and Adam's apple. You will feel the muscles under your chin strain a bit. With your neck still tilted backwards, twist a little to your right and towards your back. The muscles on the left side of your Adam's apple will strain. Now twist to left and slightly backwards to strain the other side. This is a simple exercise people often overlook. Do ten repetitions for each side per set. Do three sets everyday.
Under neck rubs. With your head upright, hold out your right hand in a %26quot;V%26quot; position, with the thumb and pointing fingers forming the %26quot;V.%26quot; Place your V formed hand on your neck, so that the middle of the V touches your Adam's apple. You will be touching both sides of your muscles under your chin. Rub both fingers in a circular motion. Do ten circular rubs per set. Do three sets everyday.
Mouth scoops. The more the muscles under your chin are strained, the more chances they will slim down. This time, imitate the motion of those cartoon animals as they open their mouth and use it to scoop in their prey. You just have to pretend, you don't have to feel silly about this. Stand up right or sit upright on a chair. Lean forward and open your mouth as wide as you can, bend down a little as though in a scooping motion and continue the movement up, and close your mouth. It should be one continuous leaning and mouth-scooping motion, afterwards return to your original position. You will notice how your neck muscles respond to this. Do three times per set, three sets per day.
Do not forget that you will have to do some abstinence and some sweating to accompany each double chins exercise mentioned here. Abstain from alcohol and double servings. The same goes for midnight snacks and heavy dinners. To pump up your body's metabolism, brisk walk in the morning, for starters. Later on, when you feel good about sweating, allot an hour a day to jog. Overall loss of fat will affect your chin in due time.
